Happiness Workshops

Emotional Intelligence

Employees with high levels of Emotional Intelligence (EI) are an organization’s chief asset when it comes to building a culture of accountability in the workplace.

Essentially, EI is the ability to recognize and manage emotions in self, and in others. Since High EI at work is linked to higher job satisfaction and performance, the workshop will cover the four levels of Emotional Intelligence and the impact it has not only on a company’s bottom line but also on an employee’s well-being.

The workshop is designed to help teams improve their EI in order to communicate and negotiate better with people, build empathy, encourage work-life balance and drive motivation.

Resilience

Resilient businesses need resilient employees. Modern workplaces rely on the capabilities of their employees to cope and even thrive under pressure. The good part is that resilience is a skill that can be learned over time.

Resilient people are able to face adversity, demonstrate great flexibility, mental agility and consistently perform at their highest level.

This tailor-made resilience workshop will build psychological capital by focusing on using character strengths to help employees become more resilient and identify tools that they can use when faced with a stressful situation at work.

Creativity

The secret of happiness lies in increasing overall well-being and learning how to effectively manage stress. Research has proven that employees perform at their best when work simply ‘flows’.

Also known as the ‘science of engagement’, flow helps people immerse themselves into a task, whether at work or elsewhere, and truly enjoy every minute of it.

The workshop will explain eight key characteristics of flow, how to achieve flow at work and the importance of using flow to increase productivity.

By engaging in meaningful work, people are not only able to perform optimally but also experience a sense of fulfillment across teams within an organization and make better decisions.

Mindfullness

We are all prone to our mind wandering at different times during the day. Mindfulness is the practice of purposefully focusing your attention on the present moment.

Mindfulness helps leaders and employees reflect effectively, focus sharply on the task at hand, manage stress effectively, and consciously decide how to act, rather than react reflexively.

The workshop will teach evidence-based mindfulness techniques that organizations can master to help people manage anxiety, stress and enhance perspective building.
