Refers to the commitment of any given business to follow the employment standards set by the government/law. Compliance may also be used to refer to the understanding between the organisation and its employees or vice versa, to abide by company rules and regulations.

Starting with where a company sources its raw materials from, to the labour that is employed on-ground, to who the finished product is finally delivered to, there are multiple segments to consider. Compliance affects just about every aspect of your business, whether it’s your finances & taxes, or human resource management (for example, guidelines for resolution of cases of sexual harassment accordance with Vishaka Guidelines, 1997 in India) - so ensure you pay close attention!
